             “Where IT Security Meets OT”

Our Mission

IT RoundTable, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is committed to advancing Operational Technology (OT) Security through education and expert staffing. Join us in our mission to engage, equip, and secure OT environments worldwide.

What We Do

RoundTable Events

One of the main functions of IT RoundTable is education. Our Round Tables offer a forum for IT executives to share ideas and solutions surrounding the convergence of IT and OT to secure OT operations. The discussion focuses on business impact rather than technology. Our goal is to address shared challenges without sales pitches, allowing technical people from our sponsors to offer solutions to issues discussed based on their real-world experience. Some areas of focus include asset discovery, segmentation, microsegmentation, and secure remote access.

Job Placement Program

IT RoundTable has conducted dozens of roundtables with executives from Fortune 100 and 500 companies across the country, and we can report that there is a shortage of qualified individuals with IT and OT experience.

One of the goals for our nonprofit is to become a referral source for people trained in OT security with an IT background. We are contacting agencies within the military that offer job placement assistance for retiring military and new graduates from colleges and trade schools.

our history

Our managing director, John Moore, has been a marketing leader in IT hardware and software for 25 years. John recognized the need for an independent technology-agnostic platform to bring IT leaders together to collaborate on best practices to thwart cyber intrusions threatening our nation and the corporations supporting our daily lives.

John launched IT RoundTable and the development of this nonprofit is ongoing. After conducting half a dozen roundtables, it became apparent that a significant shortage exists. of skilled personnel in the OT Cybersecurity space. The project began as a roundtable platform for collaboration and expanded its scope to include roundtables and job placement.
